China Zhejiang Investment and Trade Symposium (ZJITS) is sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government; China International Consumer Goods Fair (CICGF) is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. As a comprehensive foreign economic and trade event in Zhejiang Province, ZJITS and CICGF are held during June 8 every year in Ningbo, Zhejiang. Since 1999, ZJITS has been held for 11 years, signing 3191 projects with 31.45 billion USD of contractual foreign investment. Since 2002, CICGF has been launched meanwhile of ZJITS with a total trade volume of 6.402 billion USD to date. ZJITS and CICGF also introduced many domestic and overseas talents and technological results. Recent three years, every ZJITS and CICGF attract over 10 thousand foreign guests.

The 14^th ZJITS and 11^th CICGF will be held during June 8-11, 2012 in Ningbo. The event sets the theme as “Develop Modern Service Industry, Promote Urbanization Level". It aims at increasing efforts on attracting investment in modern service industry and urban-based advanced manufacturing industry, speeding up the process of urban-rural integration, creating new platform and new advantage for Open-to-the-outside-World of Zhejiang, enhancing open economy of Zhejiang Province and promoting opening-door industry and scientific development of the economy and society of Zhejiang Province. This ZJITS and CICGF will strengthen the functions of investment business match-up talk and the promotion of trade show. This ZJITS and CICGF will organize economy & trade match-up meetings, international hall, yacht & auto show, import and export commodity exhibition and trade( the 9th China International Consumer Goods Fair),etc.
