Recently, a batch of eight tons of spirulina powder worth 56,000 USD were exported to Bangladesh from the Ningbo Customs, after going through the relevant quarantine and inspection procedures. This was the first batch of spirulina powder exported from Ningbo this year.
To help companies to expand export market, the Ningbo Quarantine and Inspection Bureau provided a lot of guidance on the growing and harvesting of spirulina, to ensure the good quality of the product. They helped companies to set up a complete quality control system.
Spirulina is learned to be good feed for aquiculture industry. As Bangladesh is rich in water resources, it is now striving to develop the aquiculture industry and make it stronger.
