The Modern Logistics Park held the first training meeting of its workers on knowledge of logistics recently. Mr. Zhu Binrong, party secretary of Xiapu attended the meeting which was chaired by Mr. Zhang Xubo, deputy director of the modern logistics park.
Zhang Xubo had the members study the notice on adjusting and rejuvenating logistics industry issued by the State Council. He analyzed the status quo of Chinese logistics industry and the development trend, the guiding philosophy and goals, major targets, key projects, policy measures. Through the study, the members had a clear idea of the important roles in promoting production, consumption, industrial restructuring as well as increasing economic competitiveness.
Zhu Binrong says as the Logistics Park owns good advantages in location, it should tap potentials in attracting investment and developing cold chain and special types of logistics, making the park a base of development, application and technical transformation. He required that the members go into companies and render better services for companies.
This was the first training class of the kind. It is learned that the Park will organize more training classes so as to improve their quality and the service level.
